Here's a preview of just two of several new Sidebar widgets for eProductivity that you will soon be able to use: the Today view and the All by Context views.
These widgets are being made to our Notes 8 Design Partners and will soon appear in the next release of eProductivity. These sidebar views are persistent - it does not matter what Notes application you have open - you can always review your Today list and your actions by contexts.
As part of our unified task management strategy, we are working on ways to allow you to drag and drop anything onto a context and manage it in Notes, GTD-Style, with eProductivity. (This includes web and mobile resources as well - a true unified view.)
Stay tuned, more to come!

Discussion/Comments (8):
I'm looking forward to the widgets: I've long felt that widgets/plug-ins have great potential, but that there aren't enough 'killer' widgets/plug-ins available. These look like they will be very useful.

This is great news!
You guys (and gals I assume) absolutely rock. Keep up the fantastic work.

This is great news. eProductivity's today view is much more useful then the current 8.x "Day-at-a-glance" sidebar.
A sidebar that let you drag & drop docs to the reference would also be useful.

Just what I need!
A couple of early comments:
1) Keep a close eye on screen real estate useage in the widgets.
2) Looks like these are NSF-based widgets. Look at how you want to handle the user having focus in the widget and the pressing ESC.
I haven't found a good way of handling this. Using continue = false in an exiting event is not done without costs. In my experience.
